3 songs that deserve a grammy in 2023


The Grammy Awards are one of the most prestigious and coveted honors in the music industry. Every year, they recognize the best achievements in various categories of musical genres and styles. In this blog post, I will share my opinion on three songs that deserve a grammy in 2023, based on their artistic merit, popularity, and impact.


The first song is "Save Your Tears" by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.




 This song is a remix of The Weeknd's original hit from his album After Hours, which was snubbed by the Grammys in 2021. The remix features Ariana Grande's angelic vocals and adds a new dimension to the song's emotional lyrics and catchy melody. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became The Weeknd's fifth number-one single in the US. It also received critical acclaim for its production, vocals, and chemistry between the two artists. I think this song deserves a grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.


The second song is leave the Door Open" by Silk Sonic. 




This song is a smooth and soulful collaboration between Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, who formed a new duo called Silk Sonic. The song is a throwback to the classic R&B and funk sound of the 70s, with lush harmonies, groovy bass lines and romantic lyrics. The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart and received critical acclaim for its retro vibe and flawless execution.


The third song is "Drivers License" by Olivia Rodrigo. 




This song is a heartbreaking ballad about a teenage girl who gets her driver's license and drives past her ex-boyfriend's house, only to realize that he has moved on with another girl. The song captures the raw and relatable emotions of young love, heartbreak, and nostalgia. The song broke several records and became the fastest song to surpass 500 million streams on Spotify. It also received rave reviews for its lyrics, vocals, and production. I think this song deserves a grammy for Song of the Year.


These are my picks for three songs that deserve a grammy in 2023. Of course, there are many other great songs that could also be nominated or win, but these are the ones that stood out to me the most.
